Improving Your Communities Fund backs Highbridge Food Bank scheme
The scheme, based at St.John's Church and at Hope Baptist Church in the town has been given a boost with the announcement of a £1,000 grant to help pay towards running costs.
The scheme provides food for those in immediate need or crisis, referred by Agencies such as Citizens Advice, Homes in Sedgemoor, or the NHS.
