Homes in Sedgemoor receives the Investors in People award

Homes in Sedgemoor have officially been recognised as an Investor in People and received the award on 5 January.

Chief Executive of Homes in Sedgemoor, Gary Orr said: 'Receiving the Investors in People award is a huge achievement for us, and shows that we have demonstrated a commitment to the people who contribute so much to our organisation.'

Investors in People is a business tool that helps companies to improve performance and manage change. It is also a quality standard that sets out the key principles of good practice. In achieving the standard Homes in Sedgemoor have demonstrated that they put people at the heart of the organisation's success.

If you are currently unemployed and seeking work why not come along to our cinema event this Easter and keep your kids entertained for FREE! All we ask is that you complete a short questionnaire, and take the time to look around exhibition stands before the film starts. Attending these stands will be representatives from agencies that can support you in your search for work, and help you to find what you're looking for.

Spring is here...

The spring edition of the Four Seasons for Tenants is now available! This issue contains details on lots of great opportunities like how you can enter our annual Garden Competition, and heaps of useful information about our services, and the services of others.

The Future of our Funding

Since the summer of 2009 we have been keeping you updated on the Housing Minister's decision to defer Decent Homes Funding. We have recently received some positive news about the future of our funding, and have provided a full update on recent developments in our spring edition of the Four Seasons for Tenants. **New** Evening and Weekend Repair  and Gas Servicing Appointments

We are now able to offer you appointments for repairs and gas servicing in the evening up to 7pm and on Saturday mornings up to 12.30pm.  There are a limited number of appointments available and they are allocated on a first come first served basis.
