Homes in Sedgemoor was set up in 2007 to act as a landlord for Sedgemoor District Council. One of the main reasons we were set up was to improve the services that you receive from being rated as '0 star' to a '2 star' service.

We worked hard to do as much as we could as quickly as we could and in 2010 we achieved a positive inspection result. This then helped us to prove to the Government and other agencies, that we had improved and allowed us to bid for the 'Decent Homes' funding we needed.  This £25 million funding has been confirmed in full and funding brought forward by the Homes and Communities Agency to enable us to do the work faster than originally planned.
