Here at Homes in Sedgemoor we aim to support all our customers as best we can. There are many issues that you might need additional help with, including antisocial behaviour (ASB), drug issues or domestic abuse.
Here we’ve provided links to further information and advice for some of the most frequently raised issues.
The Crime and Disorder Act 1998 defines antisocial behaviour as acting in a manner that has “caused or was likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress to one or more persons not of the same household”.
Drug Issues – County Lines
County lines is a term used to describe gangs and organised criminal networks involved in exporting illegal drugs. Children and vulnerable adults are likely to be exploited and used to move and store the drugs and money.
Could you, or someone you know, be experiencing domestic abuse? At Homes in Sedgemoor we understand that it can be very difficult to take the first step to get help. Therefore, we are committed to acting quickly and sympathetically to anyone who is experiencing domestic abuse.
If you or someone you know is a victim of hate crime, or if you need further advice and information about what constitutes a hate crime, read more about it here.
At Homes in Sedgemoor we believe that safeguarding adults and children at risk is everyone’s responsibility and we are committed to working with other agencies to support both children and adults at risk.
