HiS customers at Gibb House and the surrounding areas in Hamp, Bridgwater, are now soaking up the festive spirit thanks to this beautiful Christmas tree kindly donated to Homes in Sedgemoor by MD Group.
HiS organised a community Christmas tree lights switch on event, where 13 children from a local school choir gathered by the decorated tree to sing Christmas songs, and customers and parents of the children enjoyed the music. The children then switched the lights on with Kaylun, our HiS representative.
Matt from MD group attended the event and Peter gave a Christmas speech after the lights were switched on. Afterwards everyone was invited back to Gibb House Communal Room for hot chocolate, mince pies and a raffle.
Kaylun said: “The Christmas tree lights switch on really showed community spirit, from local residents who live in the area to the local school choir who sang three songs. The night was enjoyed by all who attended, it is really great to see the community come together and support each other with the work they do, we look forward to working more closely with the choir in the future.”
