Ahead of the curve with Customer Service
Staff from HiS attended a course on “How to Effectively Manage Housing Complaints” on Tuesday in London.
It was hosted by leaders in the field: Dave Simmonds who currently works for Peabody as a Complaints Resolution Manager, and John Goodwin, who is a trainer and mediator, and both have worked previously for the Housing Ombudsman.
Staff looked at the housing complaints landscape and lessons learned from Grenfell plus looked at the rising number of complaints and demands on staff including calls for professionalisation.
Encouragingly Homes in Sedgemoor were deemed to be ahead in terms of our services geared towards damp and mould issues and staff were given the opportunity to share our strategy with others on the course.
